It’s our incredible honor to congratulate our very own Guillem Estivill on his successful PhD defense! Guillem elegantly discussed his work in elucidating previously undescribed inflammatory myeloid populations in targeted therapy settings. He eloquently showed the unique interferon tone, a term he coined, of these cells. Guillem will stay on in the lab to conclude current projects and continue his incredible mentorship of other students.
